Now we know what we’re doing with the silks and juggling balls, we’d like to invite you all for a circus-themed official launch party for Active Parents Active Kids! Talented acrobat Miki Vauthey of École de Cirque, Lausanne ( which choreographed and performed part of the opening ceremony for the Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympics) will guide you and your children through a whole range of circus tricks. Everybody is welcome to come and have a go – no special skills needed, no particular fitness level expected. We’d love to see you take part in our big circus family show. Registration is recommended if you want to secure your place. Just fill in this form – and please remember to email us if you need to cancel, even on the day, so we can give your place to someone else. The party will be at Grand-Vennes Sports Centre on Sunday, 4 October, at 2pm.
The important stuff
If you can, bring a pair of indoor sports shoes. If not, you can do the session barefoot
You’ll need a bottle of water. Please put your name on it.
Like everywhere, you’ll need a mask to walk into the sports centre. Masks in the sports hall are optional.
Our only rule
Be prepared to have a go! All our activities are designed for a child with an adult (or 1 child + 2 adults; or 1 adult + 3 children; or 3 adults + 1 child; but never just the little people…)
